Crawl back in lingers in a state of soft mutation – a space between forms, where desire, discomfort, and tenderness blur. Glimpses of digital intimacy and fan fixations surface and dissolve. Something has been shed. Something unsettled remains. It’s always slightly too much.
Solo exhibition consisting of soft sculptures and interactive video and sound works:
textiles, silicone, plastic, acrylic paint, dry pastels and eye shadow, metal wire, foam, padding, glass beads, chrome hardware, vertical video (duration 03:45), Raspberry Pis running scripts, seat cushion with a force sensing resistor sewn in, speakers encased in textiles and padding, speaker element, 50 audio files, skeleton part from a kids’ halloween costume, ultrasonic sensor, a knotted Newton’s cradle bought second hand
